About Me

Aivy Rodrigues - Profile Picture

Hi, I’m Aivy Rodrigues, a Cyber Security and Digital Forensics student with a growing interest in academic research and project development. The purpose of this blog is to present my first-cut project proposal and outline the anatomy of a dissertation, providing an overview of the structure, key components, and thinking behind the research. This space serves as a starting point for documenting the development of my project and reflecting on the academic journey ahead.

BSc (Hons) Cyber Security and Digital Forensics

My Mission

To bridge the gap between aesthetics and accessibility in modern web development.

The Vision

A world where digital education is truly universal and barrier-free for all students.

Project Significance

InclusiSight is significant because it connects accessibility with cybersecurity and digital forensics, highlighting how colour vision deficiency can impact both digital safety and investigative accuracy.

Many security dashboards, forensic tools, and monitoring systems rely heavily on colour-coded information, which can lead to misinterpretation by colour-blind users and potentially result in missed threats or incorrect analysis. At the same time, existing colour-adjustment tools may introduce privacy and security risks due to excessive system permissions.

This project addresses both issues by creating a secure, privacy-preserving colour adaptation system that also logs visual transformations for forensic transparency, ensuring that digital evidence can be accurately reconstructed and understood. By combining inclusive design with secure software practices and forensic reliability, InclusiSight promotes more trustworthy, accessible, and human-centred cybersecurity environments.
